Melted Crayons Launches Workforce Development Initiative
Creating tech careers and economic mobility for underserved youth and adults with mentorship, internships, and real-world workforce readiness.
Overview
Melted Crayons is launching a bold Social Impact & Workforce Development Initiative to prepare underserved youth and adults for sustainable careers in technology and real estate.
Beyond coding, we teach workplace communication, corporate culture, project delivery, and the professional resilience it takes to thrive in real teams.
Orange County, California – October 29, 2025
Planning first-round funding up to $500,000 to launch operations and a $25 million social impact campaign to scale mentorship and internship opportunities with cross-industry partners.
Three Divisions Driving Impact
Education Division
Hands-on technical training paired with workplace readiness, project management, professional communication, interview preparation, and ongoing mentorship + internships.
Financial Literacy Division
Personal finance, credit, benefits & equity, investing basics, and wealth-building strategies so technical growth is matched by financial stability.
Real Estate Division
Co-working spaces, tech training facilities, and affordable housing near innovation corridors — creating physical access to opportunity and community hubs for learning.
Why This Matters
We’re not just teaching people to code — we’re teaching them to build careers and futures. Technical skills matter, but understanding communication, culture, and professional resilience is what helps people stay, grow, and lead.
