Born in Dallas, Texas, listening to his grandmother play the organ in church, SAINT. TIZDALE experienced his first encounter with the power of music. As a child and inspired by the late and great James Brown and his late uncle, Former NBA Player & Jazz Bassist, Wayman Tisdale, TIZDALE started playing drums at the age of 8, which led to him playing piano, and Guitar. TIZDALE, at an early age fell in love with the musical stylistics of Prince, Ella Fitzgerald, Sly Stone, Sarah Vaughn and the prodigious Miles Davis. SAINT. TIZDALE possesses a multitude of accomplishments. Saint. Tizdale served our nation in both the United States Air Force and United States Army as a Firefighter and Logistics, while completing two tours of duty overseas. He currently holds a Bachelors of Art in Jazz Studies in Vocal Performance from North Carolina Central University. Living in a time where music has the ability to be affected by energy that captivates the imagination and electrifies your heart, TIZDALE defines himself as an artist who is passionate about philanthropic works around the world. He has a desire to write music that is inclusive and inspirational while driving his listeners to believe in themselves.
